Job Advert: Business Systems Manager We are looking for a highly organized and communicative individual to join our team as a Business Systems Manager. In this key role, you will work closely with third-party developers and internal teams to optimize business operations, streamline processes, and ensure the effective management of our business systems. You will lead efforts to improve system functionality, enhance business efficiency, and maintain data integrity, while continuously driving improvements across the organization. Key Responsibilities: System Management & Maintenance: Oversee the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of business systems, ensuring optimal functionality and up-to-date systems. Integration Management: Lead efforts to integrate various business applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functional cohesion across the company. Project Leadership: Take ownership of system-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations. Develop delivery plans, allocate resources, and track progress to successful completion. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance system efficiency and business processes. Implement improvements that align with business goals. User Support & Training: Provide expert support and training for end-users, ensuring effective usage of business systems. Develop user guides and training programs. Data Management & Reporting: Ensure data accuracy and integrity within systems. Generate reports to support decision-making and provide insights to leadership. Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies. Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain secure systems. Collaboration: Work across departments to understand their system needs and provide effective solutions. Quality Assurance & Testing: Oversee testing and validation of system functionality, data integrity, and user competency. What We Are Looking For: Proven experience in insurance, financial services, or a similar industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical teams. Solid technical background, including familiarity with software development practices, SQL, and business intelligence tools. Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to guide teams through change management processes. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments and shifting priorities. Understanding of computer applications and systems, with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges. Expertise in data analysis and generating reports for senior leadership.
