We are searching for an Administration Assistant to join our catering division, Radish – a Contract Catering Company where we believe food is at the heart of every community and we really value our staff.
The main purpose of this role is to support the Administration Team and Operations Director with a variety of administrative tasks to help and support in the smooth running of the office and business. This role is perfect for someone that is hardworking and loves to have fun along the way; our team is vibrant, passionate and has a real family feel. You will be an enthusiastic, motivated and committed individual, having excellent organisational skills to balance the competing demands of the role.

Role Description
Key responsibilities:
1. To work as part of the administration team so as to assist in the efficient and effective operation of the office and business.
2. To support the Operations Director with any administrative tasks including printing, arranging meetings, ordering equipment, collating information.
3. To assist with the organisation of meetings and events, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are made.
4. Have an awareness of both internal and external customers, communicating via telephone and email in a professional manner at all times.
5. Manage our employee recognition programme including birthday cards, Shining star certificates, Long Service awards and any other special recognition.
6. Ordering ad-hoc items for sites, events and sales tenders when required.
7. Support Operational team during mobilisations of catering contracts including producing start up boxes, stationery orders, equipment ordering etc.
8. Support with formatting PowerPoint presentations for client meetings and Sales tenders when required.
9. Manage the shared admin mailbox, responding to internal queries and actioning requests.
10. Get involved with the group Business Administration meetings to understand any changes to processes and share with Radish Team.
Person specification:
1. Excellent organisational skills and preferably some experience of working in an office environment.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Effective and efficient time management.
4. Demonstrates an “investigative” and “can do” approach and attitude to all tasks.
5. Ability to work as part of a small team, whilst demonstrating initiative and ability to work independently when required.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Good organisation skills with excellent attention to detail.
8. Understands and implements processes.
9. Ability to work in a changing and growing organisation.
10. Computer literate with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
