About The Role
We’re looking for a Communications, Events and Recognition Specialist to work in our Colleague Voice team based at our Head Office in Bradford.
This role will work on internal communications, event planning and colleague recognition. You’ll plan, draft and refine content to deliver both communications projects and events to support the engagement of colleagues and the business’ key messages.
Some of the responsibilities of this role will include:
* Working cross-functionally across the team and with key stakeholders to design, develop and deliver engaging communications and events that deliver key messages to a variety of audiences
* Work with colleagues to build plans and activities that support colleagues understanding and recognition
* Building relationships with and advise internal stakeholders on ways to effectively communicate messages, run events and recognise colleagues
* Ensuring messages are consistent with Morrisons priorities, tone of voice and brand
* Sourcing and sharing news and initiatives internally through a number of channels
* Ensuring that projects and activities are effective and efficient – delivering on budget
This is a hybrid role operating over a four day working week. This role is based at our fantastic head office in Bradford. Boasting an on-site canteen, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, multi faith room, free parking and regular company-wide events and promotions. Applicants will be required to work a minimum of three days in the office a week.

* Ideally worked, or currently working in a communication, events and recognition role
* Good project management, organisation and delivery skills
* Ability to coordinate and prioritise workload for multiple projects and multi-task in an organised way with a good eye for detail
* Strong written and oral skills and be confident in writing well-judged, convincing messages
* The willingness to roll up their sleeves and get involved with all elements of the role
* Ability to think and communicate strategically, and see the wider implications of business and communications activities, and maximise opportunities
* Has the ability to develop clear and effective internal communications plans and content, that enables colleagues understanding and support engagement
* To be self motivated and persistent, and support an environment where everyone feels valued and listened to
* A strong ownership for delivery of the plan and responsibility for making decisions
* Ability to see the big picture, as well as focus on attention to detail
