Registered Area Manager Supported Living Services Location: Covering Hackney, Haringey, Barnet, and Islington Salary: Competitive £50k plus Company Car ,fuel allowance, bonuses and commissions Job Type: Full-time, Flexible Working Must Have Held a CQC Registration Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Area Manager to oversee our supported living services across Hackney, Haringey, Barnet, and Islington. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of management experience in supported living or a similar care setting and have a driving licence. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of multiple services, ensuring high-quality care and support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs. You will manage and support a team of Service Managers to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centered care across all locations. Key Responsibilities: Manage the Managers: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Service Managers across your assigned areas. Operational Oversight: Ensure services operate smoothly, meet regulatory requirements, and maintain a high standard of care. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure services are compliant with CQC standards. On-Call Responsibilities: Participate in the on-call rota to provide support outside of normal working hours. Staff Development: Lead on the recruitment, training, and development of the management team and wider staff. Flexible Working: Work flexibly to meet the needs of the services, with occasional travel between service locations. Client & Family Engagement: Liaise with service users, their families, and external stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and well-being. Compliance: Ensure services meet all safeguarding, health, and safety regulations, and are fully compliant with CQC requirements. Budget Management: Oversee the budget for each service to ensure financial sustainability and efficiency. Key Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a management role within supported living or a similar care setting. Full UK driving license. Ability to manage multiple services and teams across various locations. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and supported living standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Willingness to work flexibly, including being part of an on-call rota. Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
