Based in London, my client is a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy that works within a range of sectors including infrastructure, specialist geotechnical design, education, health, commercial, residential, leisure, regeneration, and master planning. They are currently in the market for a highly motivated Geotechnical Design Engineer to expand their talented team.
Requirements:
1. A degree in civil engineering, geology, and/or engineering geology with a focus on geotechnical engineering modules.
2. Experience within an engineering consultancy with people and project management skills commensurate with the role.
3. Strong interpretive report writing and geotechnical analysis skills.
4. Experience in the use of geotechnical software such as Plaxis, Wallap, Oasys suite (PDisp, XDisp, Alp), etc.
5. A UK driving licence.
6. The ideal candidate will have a number of years of experience in a similar role within a consultancy.
