We have an opportunity for a new manager to join our Capital Management team. You will support the ongoing management, monitoring, and reporting of the capital position of the Society, with a focus on regulatory reporting. You will also have the opportunity to work on the development and implementation of the capital strategy, interpreting and implementing new regulations, and the Pillar 3 document. You'll join our Capital Management team currently working flexibly/hybrid in Leeds and remotely.
The Role:
* Support the delivery, monitoring, and incremental improvement of core Capital Management deliverables, with responsibility for the delivery of key day-to-day activities. This could include:
o The production of regulatory capital reporting, incl. COREP, MREL+, Capital+, QIS
o Production of internal capital information reporting
o Capital-related external reporting including Pillar 3 and elements of the Annual Report and Accounts
o Support the development of the Groups' capital strategy
o The management and running of the capital models and processes, defining requirements and ensuring processes are effective and well-controlled
o Production and ongoing maintenance of Capital Management Policies, Policy Guides, Interpretations, Judgements, and Assumptions, ensuring compliance with both regulatory requirements and internal guidance.
The Candidate:
* Thorough knowledge and experience of capital management in financial services.
* Good knowledge and experience of regulatory reporting requirements.
* Strong numerical/analytical skills.
