Northumberland National Park Authority seeks a highly skilled Finance Officer to support the financial management of our organisation.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of the Authority's finances, reporting to the Finance Manager and contributing to the smooth running of the National Park's operations.
* Operation of financial systems in accordance with legal, audit, and management requirements.
* Assisting in the compilation of annual accounts and responding to audit queries.
* Assisting in the compilation of the annual budget.
* Monitoring and maintaining financial records relating to externally grant-aided and internal projects.
* Proactively supporting the promotion of equality and inclusion in all areas of work.
* Qualification with Association of Accounting Technicians (or equivalent) or significant experience working in an accounts discipline.
* Numeracy and Literacy to GCSE level or equivalent.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Ability to develop financial spreadsheets.
