We have an exciting opportunity for an assistant psychologist with experience of working with psychosis in adult mental health settings to join our newCommunity Rehabilitation Teamin ourRehabilitation Service Pathway.
As part of the pathway, we also have adedicated inpatient Rehabilitation Unit,called Somerset Villasbased a Chase Farm Hospital siteasandalocal‘step-down’ community home for people who are ready to move from thisinpatient unitwhile still requiring some further work to improve their recovery.
Thecommunityhome offers a multi-disciplinary specialist rehabilitation service for people recovering from and coping with varying degrees of psychosisandprovidesa range of skills based and socialinclusion orientedinterventions aimed at enabling individuals to regain functioning in key aspects of their lives and to manage their physical and mental health needs.
Individual residents will be supported to develop skills and confidence to face the challenges of stigma and (re) integrate into their local communities and where possible to rebuild family and social networks.
It will form an integral part of the local adultrehabilitationmental health care pathway, working in partnership with key stakeholders.
The duties of the post holder will include:
• Co-facilitating therapy groups
• Holding a small caseload of therapy of patients under supervision of a qualified psychologist
• Supporting the management of the waiting lists including managing system to regularly contact those on the waiting list to carrying out risk assessments, problem-solving and signposting
• Management of the outcome measure collection and auditing
• Monthly reporting on care pathways and waiting times
• To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
• To be involved in new service developmentswithin the team in developing the transformation plans.

In order tomeet the needs of the new Partnership services you may berequiredfrom time to time to work atdifferent locationsto your normal place of work. This may mean that youare required towork at any location that fall underBarnet,Enfield and Harringay Trust and Camden and Islington Trust. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
