About the role of Assistant Site Manager
This opportunity as assistant site manager with a renowned regional main contractor which are currently the market leading contractor for this region. Reporting to a site Manager, you will need to be a dedicated motivated assistant working closely with the site manager sharing responsibilities from substructures through to interior fit out to handover. Helping oversee a full site team, being a part of chairing subcontractor meetings, progress reporting and overseeing health & safety and quality.
Responsibilities for Assistant Site Manager
You will be assisting in the following:
* Substructures through to interior fit out to handover
* Responsible for managing a full site team
* Chairing subcontractor meetings
* Progress reporting and overseeing health & safety
* Checking the workmanship on site making sure it adheres to standards set.
Requirements for Assistant Site Manager
* Proven track record as an assistant site manager who has demonstrable project delivery experience on high rise reinforced concrete student accommodation or apartment developments.
* Experience working with regional or tier 1 contractors
* Trade background or Degree BSC construction management.
* SMSTS
* Taken projects from out of the ground to completion & handover of client.
