Full-time and Part-time Reception and Administrator roles available in GP Practice gtd healthcare is one of the largest, not-for-profit, NHS commissioned primary and urgent care providers in North West England. We operate 13 GP practices across Tameside & Glossop, Manchester and Buxton, due to growth of our primary care services, we are looking to employ additional Medical Receptionist and Medical Administrators across these locations, based at an individual GP Practice or multisite role across a number of Practices, if desired, with Full-time and part-time hours available. The successful Receptionist / Administrator will be friendly, confident, resilient, flexible, have well developed team work, communication, organisational and customer service skills. Experience of working in a GP Practice and using Emis Web & docman would be highly desirable but not essential. Main duties of the job Welcome and receive all patients and visitors to the Practice. Assist and direct patients to the appropriate healthcare professional and service. Process all requests for appointments, visits and telephone consultation and triage, ensuring all calls are directed to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Facilitate effective communication between patients, staff, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies. Deal with general enquiries and explain procedures as requested.
