As a Creative Strategist, you will play a key role in our new creative agency, TURF, shaping both the club’s and our clients’ brands by bringing fresh perspectives, actionable insights, and innovative ideas that drive growth. We’re seeking a passionate storyteller with a strong grasp of both creative and strategic approaches, who can contribute meaningfully to our team. This role involves a blend of creativity, analytical thinking and active participation across diverse projects including brand development, copywriting and more. What will you be doing? In this role, you will be the strategic voice for both internal and client meetings, shaping clear purpose-driven proposals and briefs that tell a compelling story. You’ll conduct desk research and analyse data to uncover insights into consumer behaviours, market dynamics and category trends, which you’ll then translate into strategic recommendations that influence campaign messaging, tone and visual identity. You’ll also partner closely with clients to understand their target audience and brand vision, transforming these insights into actionable creative strategies. As part of the team, you’ll contribute to collaborative workshops, generating ideas and encouraging alignment across projects. Additionally, you’ll take an active role in writing creative copy for client campaigns and supporting our own content across various channels, including newsletters, LinkedIn, Instagram and our website. Is this you? We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in brand, communications, social content and digital strategy. You should have a strong intuitive and tactical sense, paired with excellent research skills and a good awareness of trends and current events. This role requires experience in distilling briefs, identifying key objectives and developing innovative solutions that align with brand goals. Your storytelling and presentation abilities should be exceptional, with a proven track record of pitching creative ideas and strategies to clients. As a strategic and creative thinker, you should be passionate about generating fresh concepts and comfortable taking initiative in your work. We value a flexible approach and a proactive attitude, with a desire to take on responsibility and drive projects forward. Experience running group workshops is a plus, as is a talent for building brand stories, crafting language, and developing engaging copy.
