Our emphasis is evidence based, personalised care to all women across multiple sites. We support and educate in clinical areas and run MDT training programmes. This is inline with evidence based practice and national drivers. Main duties of the job The purpose of this role is to promote practice development through clinical education and support. This includes Healthcare and Maternity Support Workers to Band 8 staff and the wider MDT team. The post holder will be an exceptional professional role model. They will lead and manage educational and/or practice development activities and act as a clinical expert within the Trust. The post holder will ensure learning and support is driven by national and local agendas and also responsive to local intelligence and individual's needs. The practice holder will have insight into educational and human factors in the provision of safe, high quality care. Keys to success include relationships both within the Maternity services and other Trust departments, and external stakeholders. The post holder will be pivotal in developing a unified faculty promoting cross site and MDT development.
