Instrument Engineer - Power Generation

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate and deliver outage and routine maintenance activities to ensure safe and compliant operation of assets.
* Develop and implement maintenance strategies for control and instrumentation plant and apparatus.
* Provide technical support within the C&I area of expertise to all sites.
* Manage support contracts and supervise contract resources to deliver the maintenance strategy.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements by updating engineering systems and implementing effective policies and procedures.
* Review and update strategic spares holding and long-term replacement costs.
* Lead projects as a project manager on C&I and multi-disciplinary initiatives.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Control Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or HNC with significant industry experience.
* Substantial experience in control engineering, particularly within the power generation industry.
* Strong consulting skills to provide C&I engineering expertise across the UK.
* Able to manage large projects and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
* Familiarity with new developments and best practices in C&I engineering.
* Business financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
