About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in Barnet, London. The role is full-time and available immediately, offering a fulfilling opportunity to support our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes. This position has become available due to the expansion of our teaching team to meet the needs of our growing student population.
The recruitment process will involve a face-to-face interview and may include a trial day to showcase your skills in a classroom setting. Early applications are encouraged. Application Requirements:
• Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Higher Level Teaching Assistant is essential.
• Qualifications: HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
• Passion: A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting young learners.
• Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working closely with teachers to plan and deliver tailored support for individual students, including those with special educational needs.
• Encouraging and maintaining positive behavior among students, fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assisting in the assessment of student progress, providing feedback, and helping to set achievable targets.
• Leading and supporting extracurricular activities, enhancing the overall school experience for our pupils.
