Teaching Personnel are working alongside a dedicated special educational needs (SEN) school for children and young people aged 3 to 19. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a strong background in behaviour management to join their supportive and dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with class teachers to support children’s learning and social development Provide one-to-one or small-group support to students with diverse learning and behaviour needs Implement personalised behaviour strategies and support students in managing challenging behaviour Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities under the teacher’s guidance Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom environment Help students develop positive social skills and emotional resilience Support students in transitioning between activities and routines Essential Requirements: Proven experience working with children and young people with SEN, particularly in managing challenging behaviour Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a caring, empathetic approach Ability to implement behaviour management techniques confidently and calmly Knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to ensuring pupil welfare Flexibility to adapt to the needs of individual students and work collaboratively with the wider school team Relevant qualifications in childcare, SEN, or behaviour support are highly desirable What We Offer: A dedicated and personal recruitment consultant.
