JP Recruitment are hiring on behalf of our manufacturing client based in Stockport. Main Purpose of the Role: Support the management team with the day-to-day administrative functions, including diary management, maintaining records, and providing general administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient factory operations Main Responsibilities and Duties: Manage systems and programs to ensure the smooth running of the office (ERP systems/Microsoft AX/Microsoft Office Programmes). Create product codes and bill of materials and updating these as necessary. Create and update work orders as assigned by the Production Planner. Update the Production Plan as required when instructed to by the Production Planner/Manager. Create Purchase orders for Maintenance and Production. Deal with general queries on stock for our Ashton Road / Crossley Road sites when require. Produce Production reports and provide cover for the preparation of Planning reports. Help communicate factory updates and notices to employees. General administration duties. Ensure that safety and workplace policies are adhered to and assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisors or management as necessary. Essential Criteria: Previous experience in an office or administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Basic knowledge of office equipment such as copiers, and phone systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Criteria: Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. Knowledge of fabric production processes or the textile industry. Basic understanding of inventory management or ERP systems. Salary: 25k to start Working Hours: 7:30 – 4:30 Monday to Friday
