Account Manager – North UK / Ireland

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join then global footwear brand EMU Australia, and become part of the successful European team.
A fantastic hands on sales roles, working closely with independent and key retailers across the North of the UK and Ireland.
Your main focus will be the development and growth of Emu Australia’s 365 footwear business with your existing independent retailers. You will also be responsible for introducing the brand into high quality new retailers in key towns and cities within your sales region.
You will achieve this through travelling in your territory constantly to visit your retailers for brand introductions, order appointments as well as trainings.
You will organise and manage your own time, planning your journey and customer visits, balancing your time appropriately between existing accounts and developing new business.
Above all you will work hard, in order to achieve and exceed your monthly and seasonal sales targets.
In order to increase Emu Australia brand exposure and maximise sell through, you will create successful Emu Australia ranges within each store. Exceeding your customers’ expectations by arranging promotions, visual merchandising, staff training and connecting retailer’s social media channels with the brand.
You will regularly report progress of your sales region to the European General manager who you will work together with to build Emu Australia’s brand presence.
You have a ‘can-do’ attitude and are able to operate autonomously.

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic person who may already have some wholesale sales experience, in either footwear or fashion.
You may have limited or no wholesale sales experience, but have experience of fashion retail store management and the sales process.

Qualities

· Experience and awareness of the footwear/fashion industry
· Knowledge of building brands through establishing correct wholesale store distribution
· Excellent presentation and communication skills
· Social media awareness, in order to develop connections with your retailers
· Strong time management and organisational skills
· Strong administrative skills with a high attention to detail
· Highly competent with Excel/Word/PowerPoint
Key Requirements
· Customer visits every day including extensive travel.
You will be away from home several nights per week, especially during peak selling periods
· Cold calling, prospecting for new customers
· Must hold full driving license
