Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Administrator to work with the Breast Care Clinical Nurse Specialist team in Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. The successful candidate will have strong administration and organisational skills to be able to support and be an integral member of the team, ensuring the efficient running of the service, along with supporting patients undergoing treatment and follow up for Breast Cancer ensuring that their appointments and queries are managed. This role will involve communication with patients and carers, the wider Patient Services team (Treatment Schedulers, Outpatient Coordinators, Medical Secretaries and Clerical Officers), the wide MDT and other specialist services to allow the team to case manage and deliver a well coordinated pathway of care to those accessing the service. To liaise with and act as a point of contact for clinical and non-clinical staff via telephone and email Typing of all CNS clinic and correspondence letters and filing To assist with preparation of the Outpatient clinics, liaising with other Trusts/ departments, chasing results and reports in time for clinic appointments. Liaising between trusts to chase scan appointments and to obtain test results in time for clinic appointments. Data collecting and recording on local systems.
