Witchampton CE First School is looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team. Could this be you?
Actual Salary: £16,988 - £19,366 per annum (Grade 9)
This job is Part Time - Term Time Only for 24 hours per week and 39 weeks per year.
It is offered on a Permanent basis.
Approximate start date: February 2025
We are looking for someone who can complement the professional work of qualified teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. The successful applicant will have a significant role to play in the planning, delivery, and monitoring of learning activities.
This is a classroom-based role, whereby you would work with teachers, teaching assistants, and pupils to make a major impact on teaching and learning.
Ideally, we would like to appoint someone who has previous experience of:
1. Planning and preparing lessons and courses for pupils
2. Delivering lessons to pupils
3. Using clearly structured teaching to interest and motivate pupils
4. Promoting and supporting the inclusion of all pupils in the learning activities in which they are involved
5. Using behaviour management strategies, in line with policies and procedures to contribute to a purposeful learning environment
6. Reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils
