Location: Carlisle
Working Schedule: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours No Weekend or Bank Holidays
Salary: £23,465

The Role
To support the National Account Directors, Managers, and National Account Customers to ensure all enquiries and problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently providing excellent customer care.
Key Responsibilities
Customer service
- Maintain effective communications and good working relationships with all internal and external teams.
- Supporting external Field Sales Managers in service expectations for all customers.
- Supporting in branch Customer Service Team in service expectations for all customers.
- Arrange customer samples / presentations / trials / Feedback forms etc as and when required.
Sales
- Make daily calls to an agreed list of potential customers in accordance with the branch pipeline to open new business accounts, generate orders, utilizing reports for repeat orders, ensuring all orders are captured and opportunities are taken to maximise sales and margin through range extensions, own brand etc.
- Grow and develop new and lapsed accounts within defined portfolio against targets.
- Proactive quality outbound calls on a daily basis to generate growth by arranging quality Field Sales Manager / Branch Manager or Designated Company Representative appointments.
- Proactive quality outbound calls to ensure your new business targets are met.
- Priority to key local customers to generate highest sales growth and opportunities.
- To record all activity by customer and progress into a spreadsheet.
- Accurately complete customer gap analysis reports when requested.
