KS2 Intervention Teaching Assistant We are a ‘Good’ primary school located in Bolton, East Lancashire who are currently seeking a compassionate KS2 intervention teaching assistant to join our team. About the role: •Full Time, Monday to Friday 8.30am- 3.30pm •Level 2 qualification or above in supporting children in learning. •Pay Rate: £12.90- £14 per hour. • Jaunary 2025 • Bolton (BL5) •The ability to seek advice and assistance to meet students’ needs. Provide feedback to pupils and teachers on pupil’s achievement, progress and any problems that arise. The ability to respond calmly and constructively when dealing with students with SEN. To plan, deliver and resource interventions, and assess and report on the interventions, ensuring high impact on pupil progress and enabling pupils to achieve their potential. • Supervise and provide learning support for pupils 1:1 and in small groups. • Experience of supporting pupils in KS2 required. • CACHE level 2 or equivalent required. We are looking for an intervention Teaching Assistant to work to support individuals to access bespoke learning programmes based on their developmental ages and abilities in KS2. These children are working below age related expectations in core subjects. The successful candidate would ideally have some experience working in a special need’s environment however, not essential and be confident in working one to one and in small groups with pupils under teacher guidance. Applicants should ideally have experience of working with challenging young people, will need to demonstrate a calm, positive approach, enthusiasm, energy and plenty of patience.
