Receiving diagnostic samples from veterinary clients, our sample reception team are critical to the timely processing of cases received into our laboratory. The Sample Reception Assistant will assist in the daily workload as assigned under the appropriate technical supervision. Striving to drive customer excellence in all internal and external activities. They should provide support to the team in ensuring that all initiatives are fully implemented, and that role model/ambassador behaviour, values and beliefs are adopted. A Sample Reception Assistant should be able to work well with relevant supervision and also work effectively as a key team member to maximise the overall service delivered. A flexible ‘can do’ approach is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities Sample reception/opening up. Unpacking and checking of diagnostic samples Accurately record details of samples received from Veterinary clients.
