Shenley Green Surgery is looking to expand our Reception Team. The successful candidates will be working with Partners, salaried GPs, our Nursing team, and the Management team.
Job Overview:
1. Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the Practice.
2. Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures, and make new and follow-up appointments.
3. Using your own initiative and communication skills, ensure that the care navigation of patients is followed according to surgery procedure.
4. Make telephone calls, divert calls, and take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail.
5. Action repeat prescription requests.
6. Good recording keeping.
7. General admin duties.
8. Ensure that all new patients are registered onto the computer system promptly and accurately.
9. Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by the Partners or the Practice Management Team.
10. To undertake data quality checking when requested, including assisting with enhanced service administration, QoF data work, and other forms of data input. To undertake administrative duties for the Business/Office Manager as required.
11. Training will be provided and there is opportunity to progress throughout the organisation.
12. Good knowledge and experience working with SystmOne, Electronic Workflow, Choose and Book services, and basic IT skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
