Everyone has a GP—and today alone, GPs and their teams across the UK will see over 1 million patients. Now the Royal College of GPs is looking for a Membership Excellence Team Leader to support our 55,000 members and their patients.
The Royal College of General Practitioners is the largest membership organisation for GPs in the UK. Founded in 1952, it has over 54,000 members who are committed to improving patient care, developing their own skills and promoting general practice as a discipline. General practice is the largest branch of the medical profession.

Key Responsibilities
1. Help to shape and execute engagement initiatives for acquisition and retention, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive, lasting impression.
2. Drive excellent customer service and engagement with our members.
3. Enhance member relationships, increase loyalty, and maximise the value of the membership.
4. Be the key contact for member complaints/escalations and resolutions, fostering a team culture of service excellence that strengthens member satisfaction and experience.
