As Apprenticeship Lead, you will have significant previous experience of managing a team within a target driven educational/training/WBL environment. As the Apprenticeship Lead you will be required to strategically develop, manage and implement an effective operating model for the productivity and output of Apprenticeships and to continuously develop, monitor and improve on its implementation.
Drive improvement to deliver sustainable, profitable growth which aligns to Capita’s core values and strategic objectives.
Lead the department to create and maintain a consistent approach to delivering all Apprenticeship curriculum, which is aligned to newly defined systems and procedures.
This will be a home based role but you must have the ability to travel to the Fire Service College in Moreton in Marsh when required.
Job Description
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading multiple teams of educators focused on teaching and learning delivery and operations
* Ensuring that educators are suitably qualified and experienced to deliver the required training
* Playing a key role in training delivery within area of expertise and contributing to course modernisation and curriculum development.
* Managing the data analysis, tracking & monitoring, reconciliation and reporting against contractual requirements.
* Leading the growth of Apprenticeship provision in line with organisational strategy.
* Ensuring compliance with ESFA funding rules and driving the quality of teaching learning and assessment in line with Ofsted Education Inspection framework
What we’re looking for:
* Significant previous experience of managing a team within a target driven educational/training/WBL environment.
* Excellent knowledge of apprenticeships
* Demonstrable experience in teaching/training/assessing sector
* Level 5 Management Qualification or Relevant Vocational Experience
* IQA, V1, minimum Level 4 Teaching qualification
* Advanced knowledge of MS office applications – Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint
* Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written
