Senior Commercial Property Lawyer - Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive Ref0009 A1C3 / 1
Responsibilities:
1. Experience in all elements of commercial property work with a focus on commercial leases (mainly investment leases).
2. Drafting agreements for lease, licences for alterations and assignment, service of LTA 1954 notices, rent review memos, side letters, break notices, deeds of variations, and licences to underlet.
3. Enforcement of tenant’s covenants and reports on title.
4. Handling sales and acquisitions.
5. Assisting with the Pension Fund’s property investment holdings and other legal work as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Commercial property experience, particularly for private clients, is essential.
2. Local Government experience is not essential.
3. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Training:
Full training will be provided on any additional matters related to the Pension Fund’s legal work.
