Role Title: Office Administrator / Receptionist
Location: Ashby de-la-Zouch
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £24,000 per annum + excellent benefits
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator / Receptionist to join our business services team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and exceptional customer service to both our internal and external customers. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Main Responsibilities
Administration
Sales order input and order Acknowledgement
Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers on delivery
Uniform ordering and allocation
Photocopying and document collation
Internal operational communications
General office administration
Reception
To meet & greet employees and visitors, maximising their experience as they visit and work
Maintaining a professional, organised reception area
Supporting meeting set up – room booking and refreshments
Answering incoming calls in a professional and warm manner; screening and directing calls
Circulate all incoming Mail / parcels and prepare outgoing mail
Inform Office Manager of any stationary stock required
Maintain kitchen supplies and ensuring that the kitchen area is presentable
Liaising with the facilities team as required
Events organisation and management
Required Skills and Experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and visitors at all levels of seniority
Excellent organisation skills, being able to manage your time efficiently and juggle numerous issues at once
Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Customer service-based attitude
Professional, but fun
Confident and assertive where required
Ability to work independently and be able to multitask
Dependable
Have pride in what you do and a desire to exceed expectations
Punctual
Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Previous experience of working with gaming machines would be an advantage – although full training can be provided.
Beneficial Experience (not essential)
Previous experience of working on a reception and office environment
Previous experience in the hospitality industry an advantage
