We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our Governance team. The Governance team ensures that the regulations set by the Regulated Body are complied with and the firm’s regulatory obligations are met. The compliance department assesses the risk inherent in the business, looks at ways to minimise this risk and looks to harmonise business objectives with compliance and legal obligations. This role can be based in any of our nine offices, working on a hybrid basis. Responsibilities: Perform the SMF16 (Compliance Oversight) function for Barnett Waddingham Responsible for overseeing / ensuring delivery of the compliance monitoring plan, including ensuring centralised policies are designed, implemented and maintained appropriately Perform the SMF17 function and as the company’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), oversee the company’s anti-money laundering activities, policies and procedures.
