We're looking for a Compliance Manager to join our Anglian Water team
Location: Lincolnshire, Bedfordshire or Norfolk (based in any region or in between)
Hours: 45 hours per week –some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
In this role, you will be working within the Integrated Maintenance Repair & Developer Services alliance (IMRDS). The team maintain the water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service customers.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Compliance Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health & Safety under 2015 CDM regulations. You will play a key role within the team advising and ensuring design considerations have been appropriately demonstrated and recorded on design risk assessments.
The work types include main laying schemes, DMA/ DZ splits, DMA/ DZ meter replacements, planned reactive large diameter and complex burst mains, across the Anglian Water operational areas.
Your day to day will include:
* Review design submissions submitted by engineers and associated documentation to ensure that sufficient information is available to produce CPP's or to be offered to sub contractors to produce their own documentation
* Attend Principal designers meetings and take an active role in the continued improvement in the design and construction process
* Advise designated and specific project design team members including client organisations on Health & Safety risk management matters
* Review projects through auditing and attending site
* Develop documentation for schemes that require it (risk assessments, method statements and full construction phase plans) in accordance with the process
What are we looking for?
This role of Compliance Manager is great for you if you hold:
* Experience within the construction/ utility sector working at a managerial level
* Demonstrable experience and understanding of design and construction management (CDM 2015 regs)
* NRSWA supervisors qualification, SMSTS, EUSR Water Hygiene, SHEA Water, IOSH and Cat and Genny training
* EUSR Install, inspect and remove timber, steel and proprietary support systems
* Principal Designer training
* Full driving licence
