Job Title: IT Service Desk Technician Location: Thame Salary: £26,000 per annum Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am -5pm/ 9am - 5:30pm (1 hour lunch break) Join Our Clients Team Are you passionate about technology and love helping others? Our client is on the lookout for a proactive IT Service Desk Technician to join their dynamic IT department If you're ready to take your 1st line support skills to the next level in a vibrant work environment, we want to hear from you Responsibilities: Log and track support calls via the IT service desk system, escalating complex issues as needed. Own and resolve user issues, ensuring a proactive approach. Assist in provisioning and de-provisioning Entra user accounts and profiles. Maintain and support peripheral equipment: printers, telephones, laptops, and mobile devices. Configure and deploy mobile devices for various projects. Participate in office relocations, coordinating the movement of PCs and monitors. Facilitate installation and replacement of IT equipment for Head Office and Field teams. Collaborate with head office teams for hardware collections and deliveries. Monitor stock levels for device peripherals. Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.Skills Required: Enthusiasm for technology and computing. Experience in a 1st line support role is beneficial. Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus. Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies.Desirable Skills: Familiarity with ITSM systems (Freshdesk, Jira, etc.).
