Software Engineer
Hybrid - Swindon or London
We are recruiting a Software Engineer to join Edenred PayTech, in what is an exciting time for us as a business, as we continue to grow to meet our ambitious plans for 2025. We are further expanding our engineering teams as we evolve our products and solutions across payments technology and digital banking.
Our Software Engineers will actively contribute to the overall design, implementation, and testing of the platform, and assist in the build of new feature developments.
Please note, we do not offer sponsorship for any of our roles in the UK, and will require proof of working rights at interview stage.
What you will be doing:
1. Delivery of high quality software into production
2. Developments follow best practices and published standards
3. Proactively look for ways to improve quality, stability, and performance of the platform
4. Take responsibility for the effective resolution of issues as they arise
5. Proactively contribute to the technical evolution of PrePay’s products
What we want from you:
1. Java 8 and above
2. SQL
3. Springboot, Hibernate
4. TDD & BDD
5. OO analysis & design
6. DevOps culture and practices
Beneficial Experience:
1. AWS Services
2. Junit
3. XML/JSON
4. System architecture and Design Patterns
5. Unix & shell scripting
6. Working with large databases
