Job Title: Commissioning Engineer / Installation Engineer / Service Supervisor
Required to join a leading electrical supplier of generators and critical power equipment. The successful Commissioning Engineer / Installation Engineer / Service Supervisor shall carry out full electrical installations and commissioning on a wide variety of critical power equipment such as generators, control systems, fuel tanks, and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment.
Commissioning Engineer / Installation Engineer / Service Supervisor will ideally have experience of electrical control panels and an electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or similar, BS7671 18th Edition, ECS gold card) would be beneficial.

The Commissioning Engineer / Installation Engineer / Service Supervisor Role
1. Completing installation and project work on critical power equipment at customer sites.
2. Carry out full electrical installations and commissioning on a variety of critical power equipment such as generators, control systems, fuel tanks, and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment.
3. Conduct load bank testing, site surveys, inspections, fault finding, repairs, training, and testing of critical power equipment and electrical installations.
4. Supervise electrical installation teams and electrical installs (Site supervisor / AP / AE).
5. Complete installation, commissioning, SAT, FAT, and customer training of installations, control systems, and machinery.
6. Install and configure connectivity options via telemetry, BMS, and associated devices.
7. Conduct site surveys for accurate quoting and installation planning.
8. Liaise with various engineering departments.
The Commissioning Engineer / Installation Engineer / Service Supervisor Requirements
1. Experience in electrical installation, fault diagnostics, and maintenance of generators, control systems, fuel tanks, and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment is advantageous.
2. Electrical engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or similar, BS7671 18th Edition, Inspection and test, ECS gold card) would be beneficial.
3. Experience as an Installation Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Service Engineer, Generator Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Service Supervisor within generators or control systems.
4. Hands-on electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience.
5. Full product training provided.
6. Full UK driving license.
7. Willingness to learn and progress with a reputable company.
8. Flexibility for Overtime/part of the on-call rota.
