This is an exciting opportunity to join the Band 5 Occupational Therapy rotation in within the East area of the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. Rotations are every six months and include:
* Acute medical
* Rehabilitation
* CRT
* Stroke acute
* Stroke rehabilitation
* ESD stroke
* Orthopaedics
* Older persons mental health inpatient
* Older persons mental health community
* Adult inpatient mental health
* Community adult mental health
* Paediatrics
* Pulmonary Rehabilitation
* Home First
* Primary care Wrexham and Flintshire
Successful candidates will be supported by band 6 and band 7 occupational therapists within each team and join the band 5 peer supervision sessions.
We have recently launched our new career development framework (preceptorship) for band 5 staff to enhance learning opportunities and maximise Continuing Professional Development.
Main duties of the job
Successful applicants will be able to gain experience working across an ever-growing and varied Occupational Therapy rotation, building a rich knowledge and skills base on which to practice.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
