Cavalry Primary School is seeking to recruit a maternity cover class teacher
Maternity Cover required from 06/01/2025. This is a temporary role until thesubstantive role holder returns from maternity leave. It is anticipated she willnot return before the end of 2025, but as she has to give 4 weeks notice of herintention to return, in turn we will give you 4 weeks notice should the role endsooner.
The successful Candidate will:

The class teacher role:
• Provide cover to classes to enable the class teacher to have planning,preparation and assessment time
• Manage all aspects of teaching and learning as set out in the Teachers’Standards document.
• Be responsible for delivering high quality teaching and learning for the pupils who are assigned to them across a number of classes
• Be an effective and reflective Teacher, able to demonstrate and share good practice.
• Communicate with class teachers to plan and prepare lessons with regard to individual need, with reference to school policies, inc. marking and feedback
