Job overview
This post is Fixed term/Secondment for 36 months to meet the needs of the service. We are seeking three talented, motivated and enthusiastic pharmacists to join the All Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Centre (AWTTC), the national NHS organisation that produces guidance on the best use of medicines in Wales.
You will deliver work associated with the national scheme for Branded Medicines Pricing, Access and Growth (VPAG) programme, supporting innovative approaches to medicine assessment, patient access and uptake of new medicines.
The role involves working at a national level as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Supporting the VPAG project leads, the post holders will use their knowledge and expertise to work across three main workstreams: medicines assessment, horizon scanning and financial forecasting, and implementation.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will have excellent communication and presenting skills and work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. You will establish and maintain effective working relationships and engagement with a very diverse range of stakeholders, including clinical experts and policy makers. You will be able to work to tight deadlines and have experience leading and coordinating the delivery of multiple projects.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
