Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our clinical housekeeping team covering weekend shifts only 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm. There may be occasions where weekday cover may be needed; however, this would be arranged with advance discussion.
The successful candidate will work as a fully integrated member of the multi-disciplinary team in providing a safe and appropriate environment for patients and families.
They will maintain an excellent standard of cleanliness and tidiness within the department environment, to ensure Infection Control cleaning is maintained, in partnership with the Facilities Team, while ensuring efficient organisation and provision of food and beverages for patients, if working in an area where patients eat and drink.
They will also ensure adequate stock and maintenance of stores. To support under direction, the ward activity to enable patient flow and capacity.

Essential
* Level 2 or GSCE C/4 grade or above in Maths and English Language or equivalent Assessment of equivalent level through achieving required pass mark of trust numeracy and literacy test

* Level 2 qualification in health-related subject
KNOWLEDGE & NATURE OF EXPERIENCE
Essential
* Experience working with the public
* Communication/Relationship skills: To be empathetic to staff and families. Evidence of being highly motivated and enthusiastic
