The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the EW sales team. The role of a Sales Operations Facilitator is to provide Sales support in order for the Campaign Team to identify and win new business. You will be responsible for providing sales support to the EW Campaign team as well as sales management and the wider organisation.
A good communicator with the ability to undertake a number of varying tasks utilising existing Leonardo tools as well as a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Job Description
The roleholder will be responsible for managing the sales forecast for the EW product and service portfolio. This will require considerable engagement with the campaign team and the wider organisation. Therefore the roleholder must be an excellent communicator, adaptable to changing priorities and have the ability to work to deadlines.
The role will require indirect leadership skill qualities when dealing with internal stakeholders and supporting Integrated Campaign Teams (ICT).
The successful candidate will be required to facilitate Business Winning Reviews in order to secure pursuit, bid and resourcing approvals. They will monitor the Proposals budget and provide analysis for the Campaign and Capture Teams.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Sales support be well organised and have experience of managing and improving processes
What you will do. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
1. Facilitate and govern the Business Winning process to help secure order intake targets Identify, create and validate opportunities for future sales and growth.
2. Work closely within the Integrated Campaign team using indirect management skills to assist bid activity.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders enabling the provision of analysis that can be utilised across the business.
4. Facilitate Business Winning Reviews and provide governance to ensure that we make the right business decisions.
5. Utilise internal company procedures to ensure that opportunities are tracked and accurately reported to senior management through maintenance of the Capture Plan systems.
6. Provide accurate management reporting to analyse progress of the Sales Forecast
7. Provide support for marketing & communications (MARCOM) events such as shows, exhibitions, demonstrations, conferences, etc
