Main duties of the job
As a Senior Rotational Physiotherapist, you'll play a key role in patient recovery while developing your skills in multiple specialities. Your rotations will include: Frailty, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Stroke & Neurology, Orthopaedics, Rapid Intervention Team (ED & Emergency Admissions), Urgent Care (Respiratory, Surgical & ICU).
You'll be working in a supportive and experienced multidisciplinary team alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Rehabilitation Assistants to provide outstanding patient care.
What You'll Do:
1. Assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients across a range of clinical areas
2. Help shape and improve physiotherapy services within the Trust
3. Support and mentor Band 5 Physiotherapists, students, and Rehabilitation Assistants
4. Play a crucial role in timely patient discharge planning
5. Contribute to clinical audits, research, and service development
6. Take part in weekend and respiratory on-call services to ensure 24/7 patient care

Person Specification
Qualifications
1. HCPC registration
2. Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy
3. Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio including evidence of recent postgraduate learning
4. Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
5. Post-graduate accredited course in rehabilitation or relevant post graduate courses
Experience
1. Proven post graduate experience with extensive clinical experience relevant to the post
2. To have completed a variety of rotations and acquired core skills relevant to the post
3. Experience of a wide range of clinical rehabilitation areas in an acute setting
4. Experience working as part of a Respiratory On-call and/or twilight service
5. Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team
6. Knowledge of clinical governance
7. Experience of service development and evaluation
8. Experience working as a practice placement educator including relevant training
9. Experience of working in the NHS
