BI Analyst

Your new role at NewDay
Join our successful Operations MI Team, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing and building cutting-edge solutions using key technologies like Databases, ETL processes, Reporting Tools, and Web Applications. As the BI Analyst, you'll work closely with internal business stakeholders, leveraging your expertise to develop innovative solutions for operational data requests, empowering the business to make informed and effective decisions.
As the BI Analyst, you’ll deliver
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and develop performance reporting systems that enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
* Lead the development of advanced reporting and web applications, ensuring they meet the latest design standards and deliver an outstanding user experience.
* Ensure compliance with industry data governance standards, including PCI-DSS, GDPR, and internal data governance policies.
* Enhance the MI infrastructure, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of operational data to support business objectives.
* Manage key projects and build strong relationships with business teams, aligning efforts with internal control and governance practices.
What You’ll Bring
We need knowledge, experience + expertise in
* Experience as an MI Developer, BI Analyst or SQL Developer/Analyst
* Advanced SQL programming or a related IT discipline.
* Advanced Excel/Power BI skills for data analysis and reporting.
* Database concepts and design, with a solid understanding of data analytics.
* Stakeholder management and the ability to effectively influence decision-making.
And would love you to know or learn:
* Web development skills, ideally in ASP.Net.
* Programming concepts and design.
* Familiarity with Contact Centre technologies and processes.
* Understanding of Financial Services and Fraud/Credit Ops.
* Experience or knowledge of Data Lakes/Marts and Snowflake.
