Are you ready to take the next step in your veterinary career? Our client is looking for a dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full-time basis. Located in the historical market town of Rotherham in South Yorkshire, this well-established practice has been providing expert animal care for many years. With green spaces to enjoy and excellent transport links to the nearby city of Sheffield, this is an ideal location for both work and leisure.
You will join a kind and caring team that offers a full range of veterinary services, including nurse clinics and dental procedures, supported by a newly appointed Practice Manager, a dedicated Veterinary and Nursing team, and their experienced Head RVN. The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including ECG, Endoscope, Ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, X-ray, and an Orthopaedic Theatre, among other advanced tools.
As the Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will be expected to deliver exceptional clinical care to your patients during consultations and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance. You will collaborate closely with the Practice Manager to maximise commercial performance, focusing on key measures. You will engage, mentor, and develop your team, enhancing their skills and utilising them effectively. Additionally, you will inspire your team by sharing new or evolving practice standards and changes to processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be RCVS registered and demonstrate strong clinical leadership skills. You should have experience working effectively as part of a team and be skilled in coaching and influencing others to achieve the best outcomes for every colleague.

The Rota:
• Full time role - 4 day week
• Weekend rota
