Geotechnical Engineer

Key responsibilities for this Geotechnical Engineer role:
· Collaborate with technical leads on high-profile projects
· Conduct contaminated land assessments and provide recommendations for site remediation using best practice and technical guidance
· Plan, execute, and report Phase 1 and Phase 2 Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical site investigations
· Deliver geotechnical projects and reports, applying working knowledge of UK design codes (EC7 Part 1 and UK annexes), standards, and specifications
· Liaise with clients, schedule laboratory testing, log soil and rock samples, and conduct soil and groundwater risk assessments
· Perform on-site investigation work, analyze data, produce and check technical reports, and manage projects to ensure KPIs and deliverables are met
Experience required for this Geotechnical Engineer role:
· 3+ years experience in Geotechnical Engineering
· Competency in Rock and Soil Logging
· Experience using Ground Investigation Management Software (Open Ground, Holebase, GINT)
· Full UK Driving Licence
· Relevant degree preffered but not required
Package offered for this Geotechnical Engineer role:
· £250-£300 per day dependant on experience
