Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to secondary school students
* Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
* Create and implement lesson plans based on the national curriculum
* Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
Qualifications:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject
* Previous experience teaching secondary science subjects
* Specialist knowledge in secondary science subjects
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in a secondary school setting. The tutor will be required to adhere to the school's policies and procedures regarding teaching and student welfare.
