Learning Support Teaching Assistant, Filton, North Bristol
A primary school in North Bristol is actively looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The role will start March 2025.
This role will involve supporting pupils with Mild Learning Difficulties and will require experience and an understanding of working with children with additional needs such as dyslexia.
This role does not require a teaching assistant qualification but experience of working with children within the UK is essential.
It is essential to have experience of working with children within the UK to apply for this role.
Job Responsibilities
1. Assisting the class teachers within all lessons
2. Creating a positive environment where all pupils can excel and learn creatively
3. Observing and assessing individual pupil development
Requirements
1. The ability to communicate effectively with children
2. An understanding of supporting additional learning needs
3. Commitment for a minimum of 2 terms
