Technical Support Engineer Civil Structural
The Company
Our client has grown to be one of the UK’s largest suppliers of heavy side construction products such as rebar, spacers, mortars, construction chemicals and formwork into the Civil, Groundwork and Construction industry. This growth has seen the company turnover increase and their ability to service clients far beyond their expectations. The Role
This is a fundamental role in the company’s business strategy and requires an individual of a strong construction technical nature. Operating in the local area, you will be responsible for the technical support required by both the sales teams and customers in proving solutions to their problems bespoke, specially designed to manipulated from the present product catalogue. This will include the selection and recommendation of our client’s core products, as well as promoting the prefabricated and bespoke steel work solutions and ancillary products into all construction, main and subcontractors, civil engineering, and ground-works companies. As well as the standard products our client wishes applicants to always look to extend their customers knowledge of the extensive total product range that they can supply, consulting for a company with a well-known brand name and looking to give added value to their customers.
The Candidate
Suitable applicants must be able to show strong technical experience of the above markets and be looking for a challenging new role. Civil, Structural or Mechanical experience is required however applicants must also have experience of dealing at a construction technical level and must enjoy the technical challenges this role provides. The key to this role is a good civil engineering, heavy side construction product, construction-based production application background consulting with Large Contractors both on site, engineers and to buyers and purchasing departments. Ideally degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
The successful applicant will be a dynamic addition that will demonstrate an active business awareness of the potential and importance of this role.
Basic Salary £38-40K + OTE + Full company benefits and company car allowance
