Requirements
* A relevant degree, along with a UK PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), is mandatory.
* Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service is a must.
* At least 3 months of teaching experience in the UK.
* Familiarity with the national curriculum is essential.
* A genuine passion for history and humanities education.
* Display confidence balanced with humility.
* Kind, compassionate, and considerate, with an awareness of international contexts.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver well-organised lessons tailored to the various abilities of students and aligned with the curriculum.
* Utilise diverse teaching strategies and resources to engage all learners.
* Inspire enthusiasm for history and encourage students to reach their full potential.
* Provide meaningful feedback to support student learning and adjust teaching methods as needed.
* Analyse and interpret historical data to inform decisions and conclusions.
* Organise and maintain historical records, documents, and artefacts, ensuring their preservation and accessibility.
* Create educational and outreach initiatives to engage students and the public in the importance of history and the conservation of historical materials.
