What skills and experience we're looking for
To start ASAP - Permanent 37 hour per week (52 weeks a year)
Monday - Friday 6.30am - 9.30am & 2.00pm - 6.30pm (Fri 2.00pm - 6.00pm)
Are you a dedicated and reliable individual looking for a fulfilling full-time opportunity? Redlands Primary School is seeking a School Caretaker to join our vibrant and supportive community.
Responsibilities include:
• Day to day security and maintenance of the building.
• Health & safety, fire safety and statutory compliance including undertaking safety audits and risk assessments and ensuring regular health & safety checks are completed e.g. fire alarms, emergency lighting and Legionella testing.
• Liaising with contractors
• Overseeing the cleaning staff
Requirements:
• Previous caretaking experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience of joinery, plumbing, painting, repairs and maintenance would be an advantage but not essential
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Availability for flexible working
