Our client develops and manufactures analytical instrumentation, used in a range of scientific research institutes and industrial facilities targeting markets such as chemical, forensics, food quality, environmental, oil and gas & pharma. You will support the continued development of integrated software for these cutting-edge instruments.
There is an opportunity to join a small and talented team utilizing C#, .NET framework and associated technologies to support various project development. You will be able to propose and implement solutions to problems and advise the company on any issues that may affect performance. Alongside this, the company can offer progression and training opportunities to continually develop your skills and grow as a Developer. You will be expected to keep up to date with emerging technologies and ensure your activities comply with company quality procedures and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have:

BSc or MSc in Computer Science (or equivalent formal education)
*
Proven experience of commercial/industrial software product development
*
Proven experience as C# developer
*
Desktop application development experience
Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server/Oracle and source control systems such as SVN, Git is highly desirable.
