Purpose of the role: The Data Administrator in the Technology Team for the Insurance organization manages reference and transactional data, along with regular reporting, through key activities: Ensure timely and controlled processing of reference data for Insurance contracts with distributors, reinsurers, and TPAs. Deliver transactional data via the IDL, meeting business needs within SLAs. Handle and resolve errors in transactional data input into the IDL, ensuring visibility of outstanding issues. Administer regular report generation, ensuring timely delivery within SLAs. Triage business issues and change requests, coordinating with the Data team and providing necessary details. Contribute to product specifications to enhance relevant processes and business areas. The role strengthens the link between the Technology function and business teams (underwriting, Finance, etc.) and ensures timely processing of data and reports. Collaboration with peers, Product Owners, and other departments is key. Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include: Adhering to governance for collating reference data for contracts with distributors, reinsurers, and TPAs, supporting data ingestion into the IDL and other processes. Managing onboarding, renewal, and offboarding of Insurance and reinsurance contracts to ensure accurate and timely delivery of transactional data for the IDL and Finance processes. Administering transactional data ingestion into the IDL, supporting testing of new ingestions. Recording and resolving errors in data ingested into the IDL, contributing to process improvements. Acting as a key contact between the Data Team and business teams. Running regular reports owned by the Data team within Insurance Technology. Completing ad hoc tasks as needed. Experience and skills required: Experience in reporting / working with data Experience in general insurance or a regulated industry (e.g., financial services) (preferred) Customer-centric background with focus on customer and user experience. Strong collaborative skills to engage stakeholders and drive resolutions. Familiarity with various delivery models (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall). Experience working with engineering development and support teams (preferred) Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate with global, virtual teams. Attention to detail with the confidence to challenge when necessary. Ability to work independently and support team success.
