This is a permanent post commencing June 2025. Grace Cook Primary School and Nursery in Stowmarket opened its doors in September 2022 and received a Good with Outstanding Ofsted Report in February 2025. The school currently has children in Nursery, Reception and Years 1-4. From September 2025 the school will continue to expand with children entering Year 5. We are seeking an efficient, motivated, and highly organised individual to join our friendly and dedicated team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our nursery, providing essential administrative support alongside our School Office Manager. You will: serve as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and external agencies, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment handle enquiries and correspondence efficiently, both in person and via phone or email maintain and manage the school's information systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support the daily operations of the nursery. We are looking for someone who: has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff can work collaboratively as part of a team while also managing individual responsibilities is highly organised, able to prioritise tasks effectively, and works well under pressure has strong ICT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience in an administrative role is desirable, but training and support will be provided.
