About the Process Operator Role: We are looking to recruit a Process Operator to work at our Rice Mill in Liverpool. They will be reporting into the Operations Manager and be responsible for processing Rice to Customer Specification. The main features of the role involves the following Follow Production Schedules for the manufacture of various rice products ensuring it complies with quality specifications. Ensure plant processing equipment is set up correctly for the manufacture of products. Understanding and making timely adjustments to plant processing equipment. Reporting non conforming products Completing food safety checks which include cleaning and monitoring of magnets, challenge testing of metal detectors, ensure correct sieving screens are in use Ensuring co-products are covered and fully identified at all times Ensuring hand over production status is completed for next shift Maintain a clean and tidy work area and that clean as you go policy is being followed, removing spillages in a timely manner Ensure activities in relation to food safety, quality, legality and authenticity and site security are completed in accordance to Company food safety and quality system. Experience Requirements : Milling and/or Processing would be ideal (training will be provided) Experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment is essential Benefits: Good rates of Pay 17.5 shifts in Year 1 (plus Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year if shift falls on those days) (increasingto a max of 21 shifts) Opportunity for overtime Training provided
